Welcome to Rosie Mental Health
Welcome To Rosie Mental Health
Hi I am Rosie, 24, from Northamptonshire.
I got diagnosed with clinical depression in my final year of university. It was an incredibly difficult time for me and my family. I ended up moving back home to Northamptonshire to be safer as I was suffering from self harm and suicidal ideation.
I am forever grateful I never went through with my plan to end my life, I now know that you can live with depression and that dying isn't the only way to escape the pain.
Since being on my rocky road of recovery I have made it my aim to help as many people as I possibly can through my own experiences as well as educating people on the subject to fight the stigma that still surrounds mental illnesses.
I have worked for the NHS and Mind the leading mental health charity along side developing my own work with rosiementalhealth.
Please explore my website to see the services I offer and watch the video above here to hear about my story in more detail.
I can now say depression no longer consumes me and that feels pretty great!
Woman in Consulting - KPMG
Mental Health Talk
"Rosie delivered an insightful and informative discussion to our Women in Consulting Alumni about her personal journey with mental health and her tips and tricks to survive at an extremely difficult time. Her talk resulted in a group discussion around how we can help ourselves navigate a world where technology is so much a part of what we do. She provided a useful take-away handbook to help our attendees even after the session".
